Msgr. Martin T. Quinn Endowment Fund – A Gift to Our Children

Named for the founding pastor of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, the Monsignor Martin T. Quinn Endowment Fund was established by the parish in 2008. An endowment is the most reliable source of funding for a school. The Quinn Endowment Fund fosters long-term financial strength for the school because its funds are invested and not spent on immediate needs.  The earnings on these investments then offer the school stable financial support and protect it from any sudden changes in other sources of funding.

How to Contribute

Your gift to support the Quinn Endowment Fund can be made from cash, stock, life insurance, real estate, or other assets. Here are some good examples:

  • Making a gift outright – A gift of cash or securities is a simple and effective way of expressing your commitment to Blessed Sacrament School.
  • Making a bequest – Through a bequest you may donate cash, securities or real estate to further Blessed Sacrament School’s mission.
  • Naming the Quinn Endowment Fund as a beneficiary in a life insurance or retirement account – Life insurance policies or retirement accounts make it possible for everyone to make a meaningful gift to Blessed Sacrament School. Policies that were never used for their original purpose can make excellent gifts. Tax benefits depend on many factors, including whether the policy is fully paid.
  • Donating real estate – If you own property that is fully paid off and has appreciated in value, an outright gift may be the simplest solution.

Please consult a qualified tax advisor when considering a contribution. If you are considering a donation to the Monsignor Martin T.
